Hoover research fellow Lanhee Chen participated in the Bloomberg Business Summit on November 20 and 21, 2013. On the twentieth Chen, representing opinions from Washington, was part of a panel entitled “360° Snapshot of the World” that included Paula Dwyer, the editor of Bloomberg View; Jeffrey Goldberg, a columnist with Bloomberg View; and Timothy L. O’Brien, the publisher of Bloomberg View. On the twenty-first Chen moderated a panel entitled “The Real Price of Health Care” that featured former US Senate majority leader William H. Frist, a doctor and partner at Cressey & Company; John Noseworthy, the president and chief executive officer of Mayo Clinic; Michael Ringel, a partner at the Boston Consulting Group; Paul B. Rothman, the dean and CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine; Tommy G. Thompson, CEO of Thompson Holdings; and Gregory D. Wasson, the president and CEO of Walgreen Co.
