The History Department at the University of Montana seeks to hire a 2-year Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the History and Cultures of US Democracy and Civic Knowledge. The postdoctoral fellow’s primary responsibilities will be to teach courses in US history, participate in the development of UM’s new Democracy Studies and Civics programs, and teach a first-year Civics seminar on The Challenge of Citizenship.
