About the Issue

Even as the U.S. and Japan meet, the Administration appears to be backing off on an aggressive China strategy.  Whether that is by preemptively exempting key allies from tougher export controls or taking the pressure off Huawei.

More examples of PRC cyber-attacks and lawfare attacks, as well as an analysis of how the Chinese Communist Party created the narrative of a “century of humiliation” and a cult of victimization to drive nationalism and dependence on the Party following the Tiananmen Massacre and the collapse of the Soviet Union.

On a positive note, U.S. State Governments are driving their retirement funds to exclude the PRC from their portfolios given the raising risks and threats to American national security.
