In this edition of the newsletter, the German Government seems on the verge of turning over the future of its economy and its open society to the CCP; despite significant multilateral progress over the last year among democratic countries around the world to establish security guidelines for 5G telecommunications infrastructure, Berlin seems intent on abandoning other EU member states. Furthermore, Vice President Pence gave another speech this week which reiterated many of the points he made a year ago and offers an explanation for why the United States is shifting to a competitive China policy.
