Penelope Van Tuyl, a Hoover Visiting Fellow and Deputy Director of the UC Berkeley War Crimes Studies Center (WCSC) presented a talk entitled “Capturing and Preserving Documentary and Testimonial Evidence of Khmer Rouge Atrocity” at the 11th annual Hoover Archives Workshop on Totalitarian Regimes.

In September, the Hoover Institution Library and Archives received a large donation of World War II–era research materials from Roger Mansell, a retired businessman from Palo Alto, California, who has spent the past twenty-one years researching the fates of Allied prisoners of war from the Pacific theater of that war.
The exhibit will showcase information regarding General Stilwell's infantry fighting in Burma, in 1944
