Stephen Haber, the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and the A. A. and Jeanne Welch Milligan Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford, where he is a professor of political science and professor of history, was awarded the 2009 Allan V. Cox Medal. The Cox Medal is awarded annually to members of the Stanford faculty who have established a record of excellence in directing undergraduate research over the years.
