Peter Koizol is a Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution and was a member of the first cohort (2021–22).

Peter Koziol is a portfolio manager at Bienville Capital, a New York-based global investment firm focusing on technology, emerging markets, and cryptocurrency investing. Before Bienville, he served on investment teams at Passport Capital in San Francisco and Goldman Sachs Growth Equity in New York. He earned an MBA at Stanford after serving for six years as a naval nuclear submarine officer in San Diego and as a flag aide at the Pentagon. Koziol holds a master’s degree in international relations from Georgetown University and in 2006 graduated with distinction from the US Naval Academy. He lives in Park City, Utah, with his wife and two daughters and travels frequently to California and New York for business.
