Colonel Henry C Brown, representing the US Army, is a National Security Affairs Fellow for the academic year 2022-2023 at the Hoover Institution.

Henry is a logistics officer and served in variety of assignments in the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Indo-Pacific. He has also deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan theaters multiple times.

Henry’s most recent command was with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy Middle East in Bahrain from 2017 to 2019. He was the senior regional leader for DLA Energy; responsible for the storage, supply, and distribution of bulk petroleum products to US Forces, US Department of State, and Allied Forces throughout the CENTCOM area of operations.

Prior to his arrival at Stanford University, Henry was assigned to United States Forces Korea, as the Operations/Exercises Chief in the Logistics directorate.

Henry has a master’s degree in Business Administration from the College of William Mary and a bachelor’s degree in Geography from New Mexico State University.
