Abbas Elegba

Abbas Elegba was previously a Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution 2022–23.

Abbas Elegba is a partner at American Industrial Partners and focuses on capital markets activities and direct lending sourcing. He previously spent seven years at Deutsche Bank, where he was a director in the Financial Sponsors group. Prior to that, Elegba served eight years in the US Army, completing his military career as a captain in the Army Corps of Engineers. He graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 2006 with a bachelor of science in engineering management and received his MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, in 2013.
