The Hoover Institution hosts a talk by Maroš Šefčovič, Vice President for the Energy Union of the European Commission, on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00am.
Maroš Šefčovič is the Slovak representative to the European Commission, which is the executive body of the European Union. He is an elected member of the European Parliament. Previously, he was European Commission Vice President for Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration. He held numerous positions in the Slovak foreign ministry and served as Slovak ambassador to Israel. In 1991, Vice President Šefčovič was a member of the Hoover Institution’s Diplomat Training Program.
