Materials from the Heinrich Himmler papers are now available to researchers online for the first time, including two photograph albums depicting the career of Reichsführer of the Schutzstaffel Heinrich Himmler’s career between 1929 and 1936. The albums document Himmler’s travels throughout Germany and the occupied territory of Poland surveying troops, meeting with other members of the Nazi military and government, and touring historic sites. In addition to Himmler, Adolf Hitler and Hermann Goering are also pictured taking part in military parades and other events.
