Giovanni Peri is a professor of economics at the University of California-Davis, where he is also the director of the Temporary Migration Cluser. He studies labor economics, regional and urban economics, and immigration policy. He is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and a research fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor. He received his PhD in economics from the University of California-Berkeley.
