Dustin Frye is an assistant professor of economics at Vassar College. His primary research interests are in urban economics, development economics, and economic history. His recent work focuses on the historical and contemporary consequences of federal Indian policy, with an emphasis on property rights and governance. His research on these topics has been funded by the National Science Foundation.

Dominic Parker is the Ilene and Morton Harris Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, where he codirects Hoover’s Renewing Indigenous Economies Project. He is a professor of applied economies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His expertise is in development and environmental economics, with a focus on the role of property rights, rule of law, and governance.
