ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Dr. Condoleezza Rice is the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution. Dr. Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State of the United States, the second woman and first African American woman to hold the post. She also served as President George W. Bush’s National Security Advisor. Dr. Rice will be the next Director of the Hoover Institution effective September 2020.
Dr. Fei-Fei Li is the Sequoia Professor of Computer Science at Stanford and Denning Co-Director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI). She is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering. Before founding HAI in 2019, she served as the Director of Stanford’s AI Lab. Dr. Li was a Vice President and Chief Scientist of AI/ML at Google Cloud during her Stanford sabbatical in 2017-2018. Prior to Stanford, Dr. Li was on faculty at Princeton University and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
